After 10 years and 45 thousand miles I finally have to admit that the Black Beast has become too much for me. At almost 72 I still do not feel ready to stop riding so have just part exchanged the GTR for a Motto Guzzi V7 which I should be able to manage for a few more years. Now all I have to do is get used to a very different bike and modify it to suit my needs. All the very best to you all and thank you for all the sound advice I have received over the years.
