oil & filter/front brake pad's.

well, i finally got round to replacing the engine oil & filter, along with the front brake pad's, prior to replacing the pad's they were squealing badly, when i removed the pad's there was plenty of life left on them, to be on the safe side i ordered & fitted new pad's, the pad springs & pad pin's were well messy, with brake dust, cleaned them up & refitted them.

one QUERY, i used SILKOLENE PRO 4 FULLY SYNTHETIC 10w-40, i noticed the dealers use SEMI-SYNTHETIC 10w-40
will this be a problem, or will i be ok using it !!!!

Nah, full-synth is fine except for the first couple of oil changes.
Semi-synth is just as good if you change the oil as per the manual.
With full-synth you can probably push it out to 10k miles between changes.
