as well as my kawasaki gtr 1400CBF i have a 2015 plate triumph thruxton 900, it's only covered 6,197 miles.i took it out last weekend and didn't honestly enjoy the ride at all, it's not that comfortable to ride, i've been looking at an alternative,i don't real do sportsbike's or cruiser's, i've narrowed it down to another kawasaki the Z900rs, anyone on here got one as a 2nd ride.what do you think of it.

A close riding friend of mine bought the Z900RS when it was first launched in 2018.

He previously owned a Honda CB1100 (twin silencer model) and finds the Z lighter, faster and generally it suits him better. He has covered around 9000 miles on it so far, including a couple of very wet holiday trips.

There have been no problems with the bike, although it did not arrive with a main stand and he has paid for that as an extra, together with a luggage rack and top box.

It is VERY small however, and comfort is less than the Honda for a long journey. There is also little room for a passenger.

I recently sold my 2019 z900rs cafe as was not using it as much as I should.. shame I just rode the z900rs now and again.. original bought to commute on but when I retired I did not use the z900rs as much due to me also having the H2 sx se which since retiring I tended to do longer rides outs.. but the z900rs is a excellent bike.. looks great/sound great and goes like a stabbed rat. for a everyday fun bike and the sunny Sunday blast out it's second to none
getting on now...  but not as old as Rog or Geoff
