A total of 1000,000 deaths resulting from Covid 19 has been reached today.

Spare a thought for those that have lost a loved one

Tragic and heartbreaking

Lost a mate to it this week.  Former ZRX rider who then went to the HD fraternity.  Huge shock, it really brings it home.  Safe safe and play by the rules.  You know it makes sense

I have to agree, so many deaths, so many lives shattered by something that could have and should have been gripped and suffocated almost a year ago by restricting travel into and from the UK at the first whiff of a problem.

It's easy to blame politicians for their actions or lack of actions but then hindsight is a wonderful luxury and here in the UK we have never experienced anything on this scale previously.

It's a frightening situation which hopefully will improve during 2021/22.

I do blame the politicians. They failed to listen to the experts right from the get go, and are still way too slow to react.
The world experienced the Spanish Flu in the 1920s and failed to act following the recent warnings of SARS, MERS, and Ebola. Another global pandemic was inevitable sooner rather than later, but burying their heads in the sand was the chosen tactic.

Let us all hope that the ray of sunshine that appears to be getting brighter continues for everyone and we can all pull together and get back to whatever "normal" is going to be.
