I've got a couple of pairs of earplugs kicking around somewhere from when I go raving (yes, nearly 60 and still enjoy it! Off to see Camelphat in April...covid pending)...anyway, whilst they are comfortable they do tend to irritate after a couple of hours. Never thought of snipping the ends off...
