I've been banging my head trying to fix these website issues some of you are having.

I have error logging enabled for both the site and database and there are zero errors logged.

One of the options is to upgrade the forums to the latest version, but i'm reluctant to do so as there is a newer release due in the next few months, and I would rather upgrade then.

The only other component it can be is if one of the plugins are misbehaving. I've removed a couple of them that were redundant anyway.

I'll keep an eye on this thread to see if people are still having issues.

Hopefully it was a rogue plugin  :gun_bandana:

It seems I have to clear cookies and log in again after every post when using my iPad.

I'm struggling to post anything as a general rule.

The problem I have been having seems to be trying to post up anything of any size - even disregarding attachments or photos.

I'll delete my cookies as you have suggested (that is if the wife has not aready eaten them) and have another crack at posting up my trip report from Scotland.

Thanks for your efforts in trying to sort it out, as you say if a new version is about to arrive it sort of makes sense to hand on.

In the meantime, I can't remember if I have made a donation this year so I will bung a couple of quid over to help with the cost and hopefully others will do the same. Whilst GTR riders are not a big community compared to some it is a valuable resource.

Pete.

Anyone still having issues after clearing their cookies?

I'm still having issues no matter what device I use, sometimes it works and sometimes I get the error message.

Lonewolf

Having said that I have just posted three comments in various threads without issues....four if this one works!  :mfr_lol:

I managed on here twice if this works  :mfr_lol: but other posts no chance

Deleted cookies, but still very hit and miss - I still can't seem to post up much more than the odd sentence.
