what a shame next year can't make that but those who go PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE try the GLENELG TO KYLERHEA FERRY ( which is one of the last turntable ferries in europe) but take  care on getting there if you go  from skye to TO Glenelg which is the best way go  to avoid a few shocks

Lonewolf

Lonewolf  yep  that ferry shame you had shit weather  but you must admit that the road that you took when you got off  is a little hairy we nearly had to take the panniers off so a car could get past but we came from sky i see you came from the loch ness  side

I've done it from both directions. The road was okay, narrow and twisty yes, I wouldn't argue with you there, but if you've done Hardknottt Pass in The Lakes, you're pretty prepared for anything.  :mfr_lol:

Did you do Apllecross Pass?

Rusty

I know its a way off but in these dark winter days its nice to have something to look forward to !! I am sure the time will fly by !

This sounds right up my street. My wife and I love it up there. We will probably stay in Crianlarich, 7 miles from Tyndrum and then meet up each morning. We know a nice place, which I'll tell you about when we book (hehe).

That's us booked at the Ben More Lodge.

We've used this place before, it's great for bikers. The lodges are basic but comfortable, decent showers and good TV reception. The restaurant is excellent with good value meals and breakfast is included.

I've booked online with no cancellation fee, not that we will cancel !

Nicely done Mick .... this is going to be a good meet up and if the weather holds it will be even better

I have some Garmin routes of about 200 miles starting from Crianlarich (or Tyndrum) if anyone wants to follow me on the day?

Where could I post them to on this forum ?

Mick.

TBH guys/ladies I would have considered a trip over the seas to join in the fun... But May is completely out of the question for me as it is the absolute busiest month for bike shows and races etc which I am unavoidably fully committed to  :biker3:

I know you will have a blast
