Ok, here's one of my very early attempts to do some video footage. Still using the HD Gopro I think this was only my second attempt to try it out, so please bear with me and dont be too critical.

Lord Stones Cafe, if anyone feels the urge to go is well worth the visit. Not that far from where I live, possibly an hours ride up the A1M and then off towards Northallerton/Thirsk if my memory serves me well.  :-\

It has a bit of a reputation for being a bikers cafe when in actual fact its just a cafe that bikers like to visit. So much so, that on the regular bike meet days there has been a spot of trouble from a minority of bikers because they didnt think they were getting served quickly enough. Now the Police pop in from time to time and keep an eye on the place. The owner of the cafe is very pro bikes as you will see when you go in the cafe so its disappointing that a few bikers have once again ruined a good thing for the rest of us.

At about 8:30 minutes you get to the cafe and at 10:50 the really observant ones amongst you will see the reverse lights on the car as it was backing out of its drive. Thankfully I saw them too. ;D

Lord Stones Cafe    Watch and enjoy.

Those roads seem to have a lot of pot holes. That Land Rover was blocking the view of the reversing blue car. Its those situations that can get nasty. I had a similar one on Friday. Two lanes, inner lane blocked by truck with its hazards on. I'm pulling onto the inner lane from the side infront of the truck. The cars that are overtaking the stationery truck are immediately pulling into the left hand lane, not expecting a motorbike to be joining. Was close. Very close.

Yeah got to agree, that stretch of road was a bit bumpy. Still, you soon adapt to it and adjust your riding and then you get used to it.

As for your other point, I'm not adverse to letting other motorists know what I'm thinking from time to time, when its appropriate if you know what I mean and especially when its puts me at risk.   >:(
