2018 GTR Meet up. 10th & 11th August 2018

There's been some behind the scenes discussion in the last couple of weeks regarding a 2018 GTR meet. Normally these things are planned well in advance but not this year for various reasons. Any bike welcome of course., especially BMW's    as Pete likes to reminisce. 


As always a very informal affair, the venue will be the same as last years to keep things cheap and practical, http://www.thebelfryhotel.co.uk


The date is the 10th August (Friday) & 11th August 2018 departing on the Sunday. No obligation to stay both nights, we know people have families, work and other commitments. Stay one night if that's preferable or just pop in to say hello.


This meet up is definitely going ahead so if you would like to meet some of the gang and see what we all look like in the flesh 😩 please drop in and say hi or better still book a room. The rooms are only about £35 per night, they are clean, they have WiFi, (allegedly)😁 and that price includes breakfast. 😳

I'm interested but particularly in the BMW element!!  It is always amusing to compare their poor quality with the excellent quality of the  Kawasaki marque!!

Count me in Steve ... the diary is empty so it can be 2 nights for me  A great opportunity to catch up and meet new faces etc ... oh and of course eat and drink and a bit of riding !!!!

We enjoyed last years meet down in the Forest of Dean, so pencil us both in for now. Not sure about staying as yet, the Belfrey is only 50 mins up the road for us, and we're off to Portugal at the end of Aug.

It is nice to stay over night thou just to sit and chew the fat, we will try our hardest.
