I've tried both the PR4 GT and non GT versions on my GTR. I don't like the GT versions as I found the wear profile to be very pronounced on the side of the front. I ended up with the edges wearing quicker than the centre of the tyre creating a noticeable drop as you tip in to corners. (not sure why this would be different on the GT unless the centre tread is harder on these??)

Must admit that I haven't tried them since I started doing mainly motorway rides, so they could be better for that.
They probably also help with the "stupid-speed" cornering shimmy, but I rarely get that fast to notice.
If I rode with a pillion I'd probably go for the GT too.

Just got the PR5's fitted last week. Only road it home as the front wheel bearings needed replacing again (every 30K for me)

First impressions are that they feel really heavy. I initially thought it was due to the bearings, but having had them replaced it still feels heavy. Low speed manoeuvrability feels very slow. I'll update later this week after I've done a few fast commutes.
