Modified Sat Nav Bracket Done

Hi All
There has been lots of posts on the Garmin mount in the middle of the bars being raised a tad and many have had a bash.  i decided to try at the weekend..  so ive the Garmin Zumo mount that sits between the bars.  I was always having to look down and out of natural eyeshot to see where it wanted to take me..

I noted in the garage i had 2 identical S (or Z) shaped pieces of Ally with holes at each end.  so i undid the allen bolts on the Mount and simply put the Z angles on the Bars and tightened down.  then simply mounted the Garmoin mount up on the other end of the Z..

tadaaaaa, it now sits about 3 or 4 inches up and further back.  just under the clocks.  admittedly it does make the "key" a smidgen harder to press but nothing too difficult..

I'm in the process of painting said Mod and will post up a pikkie when its dry and back on
