+1 with OC....but if you've changed plugs on other bikes and know the basics, here's a vid of plugs change on a ZZR 1400 that shows what you do, with the plastic bits...which will give you an idea on a GTR...looks to me like it could be an all day job???

Just had mine changed and valve clearance check at the same time, at 26K it was ready for a plug change looking at those removed!
Local place, Taylor Brothers at Haughton, Stafford, sub £300 for plug change (I supplied plugs), new rocker cover gasket, shim check and coolant change whilst in there, worth every penny!

Was that your first plug change? 26000 miles? Was gonna do mine but it's only on 9000...

from previous threads on this subject id conclude that if your biking is running ok then no need to change plugs for 40 to 50k miles . Id certainly wait until my valves were done and do the two jobs together .
A recently departed member on here put a video on showing that the spark plug change was possible with a tool that he had modified and without removing the tank , very fidley but it was possible

Had mine done at 24k. Apparently they needed changing. Mostly high speed abroad riding. Mechanic is a friend of mine so I know they did need changing   A big job. Not for the faint  hearted. Takes ages. 6-8 hrs mine took.

Indeed, discoloured and eroded, but still serviceable, peace of mind now.
