I have the series 3 in copper on gloss black. Love the look.
Comfy, quiet-ish, excellent feel, light.
Can't fit a pinlock though so can mist up.
Getting used to the top-centre tag to adjust the visor irritates some.

I avoided the One as the reviews said it tended to scratch it's own visor.
The 3 is cheaper too  :punk:

I'd buy another if this gets damaged.

Thanks Guys.....I looked at the EVO 1 and the 3, the 1 was slightly more comfortable around the forehead but not much between the 2. The SHARP safety rating was better than the 1 and obs price is better. So ive now ordered the 3 with the green detailing to match the bike (I KNOW TART !!!)
really like the chin guard that flips out the way so can ride open or closed face. Got £30 off using a voucher code on line.

I love the Shark Evoline series.  I had a series 2, then a series 3 and now my wife and I have the ProCarbon (basically a carbon version of the series 3).

I now have an Evo One 2 and love it. Pinlock is superb as is the sunvisor. It's quieter than the Evoline 3 and the one handed open chinpiece and visor functionality is superb.
My only complaint is that the chin flap doesn't stay put so at speed it ends up pushing on your lips.

The auto visor mechanism when you engage/disengage the chin bar is definitely an enhanced feature over the Evoline series. I ride in the open face mode 90% of the time when using the Shark helmet and only lower the chin bar when it rains. I wear moulded ear plugs with all helmets and certainly needed with the Shark ;)

I bought a series 3 at NEC show last year. Noisiest lid I have ever used and I have had a few in  my 45 years of riding. I bought it from the Swindon firm Motorcycle Mega Store who I had used before, but when I complained about the noise they were not interested. Yes I appreciate the design may suggest it would be noisy and I do like the convenience of the chin bar locations but when I went out in the rain for the first time, the water absolutely pissed down the inside of the visor, reducing visibility to almost zero. On top of that I tried to contact Shark direct which proved very difficult, you just try and find a way of contacting them by phone, email or website. When I eventually made contact via their Facebook page, the response was very poor, they directed me to a local dealer who I had never dealt with and they were puzzled why Shark gave me their details. Overall, my opinion is it is a very poor quality helmet with an awful after sales support and zero post sale interest. Save your money and buy another make. I have gone back to HJC with the assistance of J and S Cheltenham, and binned the Shark.

Sorry to hear of your bad experience and I may have done the same in your case. I registered my Shark and you get a five year warranty. I initially had the series 1 which suffered from the inner visor scratching, on contacting Shark they asked me to drop it off at a local dealer to me (I did not buy it from them), and Shark had a brand new series 2 for me in exchange free of charge. I wonder if you had purchased the helmet from a non authorised dealer which may explain the lack of support ?

I trust you pushed in the chin bar to lock it? Lol .... I have been in some downpours and never experienced any leakage what so ever.

I have Shoei, Shark, HJC and Schubert helmets. The latter a C4 Pro supposedly being the quietest on the market, however with all helmets it depends on the bike, fairing etc etc.  I can ride with the Shark at 100mph in open face mode behind the GTR screen without any issues.

It is a shame helmet manufacturers do it let you take the helmets for a test ride before making a purchase. I find Shoei overall the quietest helmets under all conditions, but that is just my view ;)

Perhaps I was unlucky and bought a faulty or damaged in stock item. I like the design but the experience and after sales attitude of Shark put me off that maker for good.

I've recently had  expensive Shoei & AXO, then a £99 Caberg flip. I now own an HJC RHPA 10 full face and a Shark Evo One (2). The quietest was definitely the Shoei which I only changed as it got too old.  Great helmet. The AXO had a lovely pattern but was poor quality. The Caberg surprised me. It was much better than expected, especially at that price. Again,  only changed due to its age. Wife has one for pillion.
My current HJC is ok, a good fit and fairly quiet.  The blue iridium visor I bought with it  lost the blue coating on day 10, the first time I wore it in the rain. (Shoei blue visor lasted 5 years - I'm careful with my gear. )HJC replaced it. First wet day,  same again. HJC offered another replacement so I took a smoked visor just to get something but haven't had the courage to fit it so far and there's an internal dark visor anyway.
I rarely wear the HJC.  Usually only on the Blackbird as it matches the colour of the bike (yeah,  I know). I mostly wear the Shark with the chinbar down in the UK. South of France,  chinbar up under 100kph, down for the faster stuff. So far I'm pleased with it. Looks good,  fits well. Not too noisy. I find I can't put the helmet on or off unless I raise the chinbar. Bruce Forsyth I ain't,  never had that with any helmet before.
In short. Shoei every time,  budget permitting. Shark good for the price.  I got it on offer at £200 from Ghostbikes (RRP £350) . I was concerned because they accept returns and I didn't want to buy a lid somebody had bought,  accidently dropped and then returned. I phoned them and they physically checked that the box etc were factory sealed and promised a full refund if I wasn't happy for any reason. It arrived with seals unbroken as stated and had obviously never been out of the box so I'm happy.
