I've always preferred michelins on other bikes I've had so when I bought
The big kwack with Avons already fitted I thought I'd be changing them
for pr4's but they stuck to the road so thought I'd give em a chance &
glad I did more mileage than I've had from any other tyre & cheaper

I had no issue with PR4's until till 50% worn, then lost confidence with the feel.
Local dealer who services a lot of Blood Bikes said heard lot of reports much the same when part worn,  but no issues running Angel GT's
So, that's the boots worn now, no issues as yet!

Angels are so much better than michelins.

Angel GT's (and previously St's) always worked well for me on the GTR, and now I have these fitted to the Versys. In all, I've had six pairs of the same and so could only be described as satisfied!

I've not tried Michelins on a bike, although I have used them on cars. They never have been my favourite tyre, a matter of individual choice I suppose?

Without doubt my worst experience with tyres was a set of Continental Road Attacks, fitted to my Ducati ST2 some years ago (they were new on the market then) immediately before a trip to France. In hot weather, they cracked around the perimeter where the tread and sidewall met and were scrap within 500 miles.

Today's standards as long as it's black, round, made of rubber and is the correct size and rating you'll be fine.
Or you can get PR4's and be extra fine

Actually modern tyres have quite a small amount of rubber in the construction, it's mostly silica and other compounds

I do apologise, I was being a bit generic.
