:help: cant believe the bloody things leaking AGAIN 😡😩 new seal cleaned hole and even put on high temp sealant for good measure. Its an awful design flaw. Anyone got any sure ideas. Im thinking of an oversized seal next time. Ruddy infuriating 😡😡

They appear to be a weak point. Get a dealer to do it and if it goes wrong not your prob.

Mack please don't think wook has lost the plot (well anymore than usual  )but clear bathroom silicon does a cracking job it can be used to seal joints between slip on cans as well .
Used it a few times over the years to foil oil leaks and chuffing zorst

That's actually not a bad idea except that clear won't work at all.  Not compatible with the seal.  The seal is black.  You must use black sealant to have it seal correctly.  Change the seal out and then apply something like RTV sealant.....black of course.   Additionally the RTV type of sealant is compatible with automotive uses and temps.

Sadly jim that was rtv i used n black too. Its soooo annoying but i think ill oversize anyway then heavily coat rear of sensor so it sills out leaving excess t wipe off this time. Hate doin jobs twice or more.

We have a member who sourced them outside of Kwackers as none of the Kwackers ones were worth a  :censored:.  I believe that they were a tad oversized.  I've got them in a drawer somewhere.  I think I had more than one (2).  This is the year I take it off the shelf and install it..  I know mine is leaking but it hasn't been bad enough to worry about.

Going back through that thread and someone sourced them outside of Kwackers...  https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005RUS84I/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1.  But you have to buy 20 of the little buggers.

Here's our thread on the subject http://www.zggtr.org/index.php?topic=13866.0 Rich no longer supplies them and I don't see them on Murph's site either  Murphskits.com

I did get an answer that Murphskits.com does carry them, but you should email them and get pricing to the UK should you so desire one.

Might be worth going to a local seal manufacturer to see what they think. Not very expensive either
