I was thinking of changing to led but dont do much night riding.Theres lots of reviews on google and utube. Phillips are a good named brand. Also some of the members on C.O.G (concours owners group )  USA forum have done the upgrade. Maybe have a look there.Give us a review if decide to go for it. :banana:

My car a renault espace is full LED featured from the start
It's great
So I assume if a car manufacturer can generate tha ammount of light with led an oem for bulb can
French 2008 GTR 1400
-> Motax back wheel cover
-> Phillips H4 Xenon light
-> 2 motorcycles speakers+amplifier+remote
-> Integrated Hugel GPS+MP3 player in the ''glove box''
-> Kawasaki Top Case
-> Cee Baleys Screen
-> Akrapovich Silencer

Al lot of M.Cs problem is the shape of the reflector and, no matter how powerfull the bulb or genre ..a shite light is a shite light (sorry shite is geordie for under performing ).
So its possible the individual may NEVER have the illumine he or she desires  :smiley:

I put hids on mine £23 on ebay they are car ones but they have been on for 12month and perform great just Plug and play and 2 leds for the small lights at the bottom no problem with mot or other drivers/riders.
I have bought a 1400gtr so I can open the throttle and spin the world

I suppose that applies to a lot of people who ride motorcycles a friend of mine has the same on his fjr and nothing was said on a bike safe meeting or iam training
