Because Saga and a good brew go hand in hand but living in Devon you have to have your jam and cream with scones. The burning question is -  Do you put the cream on top of the jam or the jam on top of the cream?

Robin

Haven't been on the forum for a couple of days and only just noticed Syd and Mo's kind offers.  Just had my Laminar Lip delivered today so I won't need to take you up on your generosity!  Will report back when I've given it a try although from what everyone says, it seems to do the trick for most riders.  Glad to see that this thread has provide the opportunity for a bit of levity!

The James Martin recipe is a bit OTT, although maybe a touch of Whiskey in the mixture isnt such a bad idea......

I'm with the Wook here, looking for a slab of fruit or cherry cake could find none in Aldi, but saw the whisky cake, had to be tried!
With a spread of butter on it's absolutely gorgeous! Not doing me diet much good tho!
Patience is something you admire in the driver behind you and scorn in the one ahead.
