So decided my seven year old jacket n waterproofs were due a change (think i got every ounce of my monies worth out of em) and decided to go the richa route. By the way is it ricka or ritcha in sound not sure. Anyway its been raining dan saff a bit lately so went for a nice ride in the rain n they were spot on. No wet anywhere n very warm concidering. Does anyone else use richa gear and howd you find it? O got some held arctic gloves too n very warm but stiff so hard to feel grips at mo. Theyll break in i guess 😀🏍🏍

Charli end I used to have Richa jackets. However on a ride in very wet conditions about 18 months ago. We were both soaked. That was my second one exchanged under warranty due to the leaks in previous one. I have a Dainese jacket now

O looks like ill be usin the richa over jacket in real wet weather then pete. Was hoping not to have to stop n put it on. Always a pain when ur goin well n have to stop. Thats a shame cos the jacket got a good write up. In fairness the rain i was trying it in wasnt torrential. So time will tell 🤔🤔

Yep Daines is good, I had a D-Dry suit for a couple of years and it was fine, but since I lost a couple of stones weight it was hanging off me so it was time for a change

I bought one of these a few months ago and it is outstanding Rev-it Defender Jacket and pants

I also changed my knackered Alpinestar 365 gloves for a pair of Held Air n Dry, which so far are very good, I do have some Gerbing heated gloves if it gets too cold for my handy pandies

I have Dainese D-Dry really good kit ( mine is only the mid range quality ), however i have not been in a real downpour yet but have got caught in wet conditions and it has held up very well and is very quick to dry out. I will stick with Dainese for my next kit change and will go for the next level.

I did have a Kawasaki Stelvio jacket once and this was a great piece of kit too, must say Kawasaki clothing is really good, i did read somewhere that Dainese make their riding kit.
get a grip and deal with it

My suit has had a good life but was time for a change it was the frank Thomas ones .
I bought the Dainese suit d ridder can't fault it  Streetbike in Halesowen was doing it interest free.
It has vents on the chest and legs which are held open with magnets just be aware if anybody has a pacemaker or similar.
The only downside was wearing hiviz it covers the vents in the jacket so bought a bracers type hiviz which PRD informed me stands out well at this years meet/ride out
Up to this present time I cannot fault it.money well spent

Hi macskwak
Is it the Richa typhoon? That's what I'm after for my tour to France/Spain
My cheap waterproof suit was really good and was the best thing I took on my tour over there, however it's a bit tired now so am opting for the Richa typhoon as its a Ride recommended one too

I guess, in theory, newer stuff works better than older products . As far as I know, all the waterproof stuff has a placcy lining these days - while the outer layer gets drenched. I'm sure that some people used to sell clothes where the outer layer was waterproof( like wax jackets). Ive got a Wolf top and bottom , it just worked in 4 hours rain from la Rochelle to Cherbourg. My gloves soaked and sent watter up me arms tho, chortle.

Got caught yesterday in downpour and jacket held up nicely. I think even the less expensive ones nowadays are up to the job. Held arctic gloves good too no prob there. Happy so far but early days 👍

I have a Richa C-change suit. Never again... Already repaired under warranty and still not waterproof. A little rain is OK but not more than 30 minutes.

Next time Rukka, Dainese or...
