O.C.

I dont know why but Armistice Day always has a huge effect on me as I remember and pay my respects to those who lost their lives so we might enjoy our freedom

I have visited the Somme and its various battlefields and graveyards, the effect that experience had on me will stay with for ever.

Lest we forget

Patience is something you admire in the driver behind you and scorn in the one ahead.

 :agree:
Haveing served and still have family serving and still deployed ..  its a very emotional thankful day .
M and I have visited the Somme Ypres and Normandy .. and the war graces always produce tears from us both.
I have often tried to put this into words and FAILED!!
All I can say is THANKYOU  and may their God take care of them

I know I would be quite the tearful fellow if I visited all of those places.  It's going to be bad enough when I can visit England again.  In fact, I'm  a bit now thinking about it.
