I had the pleasure today of taking a few pics of a friends 12 week old British Bulldog. Never be fooled into believing that Bulldogs aren't quick on their feet!!  This bugger was all over the place.  :mfr_lol:

That Mr Wolf is damn good lookin pooch .. and it doesn't seem to have extreme breeding in the nose dept .. ie the dog can breath and exercise

Lonewolf

Wookie,  you obviously know your breed. The guy who owns this chap paid £2000 for it to ensure it had good pedigree and the breathing issues were reduced.

I shoot in nothing but RAW. Additionally I use the cameras histogram to make sure the blacks and whites aren't overstretched and bleached out as this helps get a perfect exposure.
All this image required for editing was the eyes lighting a bit as this breed has particularly black eyes.

Probably one of my most favorite breeds.  Excellent picture, Mr. Wolf.

Depth is spot on the money  :punk:

You can't beat a fast lens, this was shot wide open at f1.8 with a Zeiss 85mm lens. There was a frightening moment though when the Bulldog grabbed the £900 lens in its mouth, thankfully all it did was slobber all over it.

Well I'm not  knowledgeable enough to understand all that Steve    :mfr_lol:

I've only recently been able to grasp the difference between RAW and JPEG,...I've said it before and I'll say it again "every day's a school day "

Roger, the histogram is a graph which appears in the display as you compose a shot. It measures the full spectrum of light hitting the sensor and let's you know whether you need to stop down a bit or open up the lens. Just because something looks good in the viewfinder doesn't mean that it'll be good when you have taken the shot. The histogram basically ensures that the whites haven't reached a point where they can't be recovered and likewise at the other end of the spectrum for the blacks.

Now that I've explained it I'm sure you understand it perfectly.

The Sony a6000, should you go for it has a histogram.
