Well i did my maths or math as jim would say lol and turns out i can swap three shims around so only need four shims. £36 later and a cheap valve check i think. Turns out it had three on their low limit and four out of spec so glad i did it and wouldnt you know my newly installed cam position sensor o ring was leakin again. I knew they were too thin so ive laced it with high temp sealer this time. New shims should arrive tday so ill av her running up today hopefully 👍👍👍😬

Yay valve check done n finished sounds nice runnin smooth rattled on start up then settled n now silky smooth adjusted throttle linkage n took up play now revs out v nice. Macs a happy chappy

Ha ha jim youd be able to do it. Its just applying yourself and not being scared thats all.

Thanks oc. It was a saga but only because of waiting for micrometer n shims n bits from ebay. Once i had em it was full steam. V happy. Pulls like a train and runs nice n smooth 👍👍
