HIDS,  only for those fitted HID,  Ive used before on other bikes and off the opinion you can't beat them.  But because of the Canbus I've be been unable to use my old set.  What HID have you fitted please and what colour have you gone for?

To be honest ive never used hid i prefered to put a couple of super bright mini spots under my mirrors. Still gives great day and night visibility to others but cuts down on power. I dont like the idea that lights get so hot they need a fan to cool them. But that said its just my preference. Youve used many and had no probs so they must be safe. Just seems lights that get so hot they need a fan dont need to b on my bike but im prob just too cautious. 🤔🤔😒
Baby blade ,rt1100,CB1300 and the best yet gtr1400 😁😁😁👌

:agree:
I've gone off Hids after having them on my Tiger1050, lights on that were dire!
Agree that HID light production is immense, but the reflector is designed for a standard fitment lamp dimension, changes light pattern with a HID lamp installed, kept dazzling others so gave up.
Philips Xtreme or Osram Nightbreakers performance lamps replacing standard with aux lights giving me light where I want it is the preferred option for me!

I had HID's fitted.. Got rid of them in the end because I was blinding everyone. Even after adjusting them it didn't make any difference.

I now use Philips Xtreme which are better.
