Washing textiles

If your washing machine and tumble dryer are still working  , and you have a supply of Nikwax,  then after removing the liners and armour, I was advised to turn the jacket and trousers inside out and was told to dry them that way. A lot of the modern textiles have special coatings on the exterior, or have
  " technical" material finishes. By turning them inside out you protect the surface from wash drum and tumble dry abrasion
