Hi All,

About to have a used 2015 GTR 1400 delivered next week.  I am getting some kit together for an upcoming trip and need to know exactly what type of power outlets are fitted on the bike as standard?

Look forward to your help/advice.

A warmwelcome along Foxy.

Your new GTR has one standard fitment 'plug in' accessory outlet on the instrument panel...like a cigarette lighter socket, it is a switched socket meaning it is dead when the ignition is turned off.

Accessory leads are situated at the front left of the bike, in front if the storage box, they are inside a large black rubber boot and are short in length and a little difficult to access...read PITA  :mfr_lol:

There are more switched accessories leads located behind the seat lock mechanism at the rear of the bike,  the general idea is to locate them and then lengthen them to suit.

Good luck with your new bike and keep us posted

What he says, I actually split the front boot open to get at the accessory wires and used them to power my sat nav, the rear ones I use to power my autocom system.

Have fun.

Welcome to the madhouse Foxy

The lighter type socket only has a 5amp fuse as I found out when I plugged my tyre compressor in for the first time
