As my trip to the Lower Lode had to be cancelled today due to doggy trouble it was very late by the time I got out on the bike and there certainly wasn't time to go to meet Debs as had been Plan A so instead I popped up to Kirkby Longsdale (Devils Bridge) where again I bumped into Geoff before going up to The Tan Hill Inn at Swaledale.

A dramatic change in the weather here compared with a week ago. Maximum temperature today was 19.5 degrees. Had a lovely ride up to Tan Hill with a few stops on route to take some photos.

I don't know how I've missed this previously on my many trips to Swaldale!

Sorry folks, I had to take one of the bike.  :whistling:

Whatever the construction is behind the bike it struck me as being an interesting subject to photograph so I experimented with a few different techniques.

Personally I prefer this one....

And last but not least, especially for PRD as he loves K1600's
