Having recetnly joined and trained with the NEG (National Escort Group) http://www.neggb.org.uk/ I have now fitted strobes and a beacno to the GTR.

The work was done by a member of my RoSPA group and I'm very happy with the end result.

Hmm, interesting, I like the mirror additions. May I ask where you got those from?

I tried getting pictures with the strobes on, but no joy there.  Blue beacon - now there's a thought!

Here are the strobes lit up..... (I had to use a very slow shutter speed to catch them!) ... and the switches.

The key switch is to isolate the lights as they are not ignition fed.

For some reason I'd assumed they were white. How much did they cost and where did you source them from?

I wanted clear lenses but they need to flash amber.

I got them from a HGV motor factor.. they were just over £40 each with the dreaded vat. The are wired to 12v and dont have any sort of control unit.
