Ok, Take a minute to soak up the detail on this , what do you think ? I do fancy it for a second bike . It may need a Bikini fairing and a chrome sports rack . Its about as retro as a Manufacturer can go.
The model coming out later this year which is called the CB1100  concept has more chrome .
Obviously no fairing and not the power im used to but could give lots of man pleasure for those occasional  sunny ride outs . My main bike will still be a big watercool with a fairing .

What a bike should look like. Takes me back to my youth!

i have considered the w800 , but its too 60s for me, the honda is more 70s/80s. Plus the smaller twin engine and peashooters doesnt appeal

My Brother bought the original CB1100 (with the single silencer) just after its launch in May 2013. We went to Spa shortly afterward and his concerns were very limited tank range (around 100 miles, perhaps due to the lack of a sixth gear) and a "busy" feeling at cruising speeds (around 75 mph for us through France on Autoroutes). Again, this was probably due to the lack of a sixth gear. Otherwise it worked well.

A friend that usually rides with us on tour and with me most weeks of the year retired in March 2015 and decided to sell his 1970 CB750 (John Wyatt restoration and one - time prize in a Classic Bike magazine raffle in the late 90's) and bought the later CB1100 EX Model last July. This has twin silencers, spoked wheels, a larger fuel tank and sixth gear. It really does seem to have answered all of the problems that my brother complained of and Paul is delighted with it. He had fitted (as part of the deal) heated grips (Datatool, as the controller is fitted to the left grip and handlebar space is very restricted) and a luggage rack, to which he has added his own Givi top box. The bike has now covered around 3,500 miles.

Yes the newer EX  model is the way to go , also has ABS, only been out for a year so I will probably end up buying new . I fancy the Concept model but there is no info on release dates, only just unveiled at Tokyo show
