OK, thought that after nearly bowing my fuse and demanding money back / alternative bike over a 3 visit Tyre Pressure Sensor fix, that was the end of it!
But, alas it was not!
After an "old school" mechanic and his youth at DK fixed the TPS and appeased me,  I was kindly offered tyres and next service free as wasted 3 days of me life!
So, back in today for free 22500 mile service, and change of the front discs at 50/50 cost as imbalance was starting to drive me nuts!
So, after 3 hours, sitting on much arse candy in the showroom and a quality breakfast, advised "good & bad news"
Service, all sorted, no hassles.
New pair of EBC discs, they noted a mark on the one, but still fitted, and guess what........still got a "pulsing disc" :censored:
In the best Victor Mildrew voice.....................I DON'T BELIEVE IT! :gun_bandana:
But, fair play to spanner man Andy, new Kawasaki discs will be ordered up, should be there tomorrow, with new pads on the front, and will call me when fitted.
And immediately offered a loan bike till mine sorted....so a 14 reg 650 Versys is the steed for a day or two.
Heard varying stories about DK, overall I still am not sure, but for all the flannel and sh*te that I've received from some there, all it takes is a couple of mechanics being honest, humble and having a right attitude with customers that has saved the dealer from a load of bad press!
Why can't the workers attitudes be embraced by management folks, we could have a Great Britain again!
Anyhow, rant over, high horse has been dismounted!
Ain't those little Versys's hooning tools! - just need an upgrade to a 1400 in line 4 for overtaking!! :embarrassed:
Anyhow......beer and beta blockers......chill time!

Patience is something you admire in the driver behind you and scorn in the one ahead.

lets hope your bike is finally sorted with the factory discs.

Now the small matter of your experiences with the little 650 Versys. ..............ask the dealer if he has a 1000cc version and be prepared to be amazed

Discs were supposed to be in next day, looks like they won't be in till tomorrow....................
I do love my GTR but a Triumph Explorer / Trophy SE might be investigated shortly!   :undecided:
Not happy, too wet and miserable to flex that Versys 650.........aaaarrrrgggghhhh!.

Redrat

Have you thought about any slight wear in the wheel bearings causing brake lever pulsing or wheel imbalance despite the discs being changed?
It's big, it's blue and the plate says 'you have just been overtaken by a pensioner' and that really pisses sport bikes off.

Make sure you let the service manager know about the help and attitude of mechanics.

We all work for money but some honest praise and appreciation makes everyone's days

Thanks Redrat, proved the original discs with a dial test gauge so verified warped, logical reasoning though! It's with the selling / main dealer so if there is any bearing play I really hope they sort and resolve, passed the MOT when they sold it to me!

I never fancied DK for service, thought their reception area looked bloody awful and ive used a combo of cradely and Denbigh Kawasaki dealers with no probs.

So, after 5 days new discs fitted, not OEM's as promised which really  :censored: me off, but EBC's again.
I always look for the positive, and thought I'd found it, but won't be heading back there for any repair or service work.
Chells's in Stafford used to be a Kawasaki dealer, the place is really being run down as have lost all major manufacturers, but thier Spanner man, Julian, is setting up on his own in the new year at Haughton, Staffs.
I can give him nothing but praise as he's worked on all Honda / Suzuki / Kawasaki at a main dealer for 10 years with no complaint I've been aware of! Will be tyres / MOT / Service / repair work.
If you want to try him PM me and I'll forward his number on.

My gtr is going to Haughton for service and mot tommorow.

Patrick, how did you get on at Taylor Brothers with your bike?
Like I stated above, lot of respect for Julian when he was at Chells', hope service just as good now he's got his own setup!
Had some lovely classic machinery in there when I called by a few weeks ago!

I dropped bike off yesterday and will collect next weekend.  I remembered him from chells and he remember me and th gtr as chells did an accident repair on it... insurers choice not mine.

Taylors are doing work for local blood bikes and all feedback seems positive
