I think that as forums and bikes 'mature' (and I say this in the kindest way), the discussions change and the chatter becomes less.  It seems that way on ours.  We get a few new riders every month but nothing like it was in the beginning at the GTR/C14 introductions.  Our forum is busier than yours but we have more 'active' members but again, it's nothing like it was in the beginning.

Having a forum that's like banter among friends is the ideal, I think.   We have that more than not.  I've tried to foster that on ours (C14 boards) and for the most part it works but we still get the occasional personality that has no sense of humour that causes strife and then sword must fall or at least wave in the general direction.  I don't see that here and I'm here at least as much as I am on our forum (reading).

Having a new board here with other bikes is never going to replace a forum dedicated to one model or brand.  You're never going to get all the information you need, but the riders here are some of the very best I've virtually met and I'm sure that the discussions will yield a bit more chatter and I may learn a thing or two along the way.

If you are looking for a cure for insomnia might I recommend  a BMW owners meeting. When I owned bikes from the dark side I attended a couple of meetings. Slept like a baby ever since. They were not friendly either seemed to think they were bettere than other marque riders.

How about Feck off its my bike I dont care what you own.Truthfully i feel that the integrity of this site is slowly waning ,next there will be a tractor section for the (harley) lovers, a cage section and so on where will it all end .I will however draw the line when we start discussing zimmer frames. That all saying i dont even own a gtr anymore .

Calm down lad it's only banter!

The reason for having another section was just somewhere to discuss other bikes, a section that most bike forums have. The k1600/bmw reference is a long running joke on this forum.

Think you need another pint of Guiness to recharge your zimmer frame  :mfr_lol:
