Hello All,
I joined the forum a little while ago, with the aim of considering a GTR to buy. Well I have now! I spied a 2012 green model with just over 5k miles on it, from tinterweb. Made a call, a little haggle, deposit paid and consequently I take delivery of it next Friday. A little unorthodox for me as I don't like buying anything without having a look at it in real time. So when it rolls off the back of the truck, what should I be looking for, apart from the obvious (two wheels, V5, a good kickin' etc etc) before I accept the bike?

Looking forward to getting in amongst it with the bike. Cheers in advance!

Welcome along. if you have found yourself a goodun then there shouldn't really be any issues, just check the rear suspension adjuster knob as they can stick/sieze, the only other issues are maybe warped front discs but TBH with that low mileage they are almost certaint o be okay

Enjoy your bike and post us a pic or two when you can

Well, the bike arrived yesterday. Chuffed to bits. I went out for a little blast and ended up setting my hair on fire.

Welcome  :punk:

The sweet spot is 6.5-8.5k rpm.................think it's called making progress.

The green is my personal favourite colour............don't let the owners of black ones tell you they have the fastest colour

Just looked at your pics and feel the need to go take my own green war horse out for a blast right here right now.

Big big welcome to Team Green Mean GTR  :mfr_lol:

Ignore Charlie and his ramblings, Black ones are known to be quicker.

But you're riding a '10.  That's a third slower than the '08.

Patience is something you admire in the driver behind you and scorn in the one ahead.

Green! Green! Green! Green! Most comfy of course and even tastes nice when I lick it clean... ( I know, I need to get out more)

Welcome to GTRs. Green would be my second choice but Black is first. Mine has seen 165Mph on the speedo on the way back from the 2007 GTR rally on tne A3 between Frankfurt and Bonn. Anyone on here seen faster?  :punk: :punk: :punk:
I know some of our American brothers have done more.
