Hi all.. how the hell are you all doing  been a while since I sold my 2010 gtr and retuned back the zzr  As the 2014 gtr had any changes over the 2010 model? I know the 2015 dose read the review.. bit can't find if there are any changes to the 2014 model? did hear kawasaki change the tyre sensors on the 2014 model so the batteries could be change with out the complete sensor is this correct? any other changes over the 2014 model compared to the 2010 model..

Other than being 3 years older and a different colour....not much.  Tire sensors have been changed so that they cannot have the batteries switched out.  Not sure when they made that particular change.  I believe the rotors/pads may have been changed for the better...at least in the US.

so the complete sensor is still required when the batt fails?  do the batts last longer then?

That's correct.  I don't think we have much data on how long the new ones act.  I'm hanging on to mine as I can do a battery swap fairly easily.

thanks for the info.. dam silly idea if you ask me :hammer: if you could simple change the batteries like you do in a watch we could replace them when a new tyre is required then you don't ever need to worry of them failing when getting close to their life. after all the batts are only a few pound each. replacing the complete sensor then re-programming and removing and refitting the wheel/tyre is over £300..

Replacing the bike when the TP sensor batteries go is certainly one way to do it.  A tad on the expensive side, though.
