Having bought the bike last Sept with 1500 miles on, I have now covered around 7200 miles and tyres are squaring off. Stock Tyres, so pleasantly surprised at mileage they have done, but even after 7000 miles of me riding, still not confident on how they hold the road, especially when cornering, so looking for a good set of tyres based on recommendations.

I had Pirelli ST's on my Bandit and read quite a lot about the GTs being the choice for ths bike.
P3 and P4's also seem to have good (but mixed) reviews.

Comments appreciated

I use Angel Gts. Good mileage and good road holding. I used to get a lot of punctures with the michelin PR 3's.

Before I moved to the dark side and bought my Gs I was looking at the Angel GT ... I only ever hear good reports about them so certainly worth a try.

My Stock tyres BT021's that I am waiting to change from are still going.
They have 10,058 miles on at the mo' and still going.  This is incredible wear IMO, so although I was thinking of changing to Angel GTs, I am not so sure now, as I have not read anywhere that they are returning 10k plus miles.

Thoughts please on what kind of mileage is being achieved. I commute daily so my ride is mainly A Roads and Motorways.

I get 10k out of a rear PR3 and 12k from the front. AngelGT should be about at good. The effect they have on feel vs the BT021 has to be experienced to be believed.

Had a Pair of Pirelli Angel GTs fitted today, so lets see how they stack up against the stock which got 10,675 miles from.

I gotta say, done just over 400 miles with the new Pirelli GTs since had them fitted last week, and as you all said, its like riding a completely different bike. What an improvement over stock tyres.

Definitely happy so far with the choice. Thanks all for your recommendations.
