However my understanding of the report is that in the helmet speakers are incuded in the ban

" Third-party motorcycle intercom units, such as those from Cardo, Senna and other manufacturers, such Shark, Nolan, Schuberth and more remain legal. These systems usually use drivers attached inside the helmets instead of pieces that go in the ear. "

Speakers in the helmet are fine like schuberths src systems etc.

The ban is just ear pieces like you have on phones / iPods that is what is banned as some people are using them on the phone . Which is what they are trying to stop

headphones used in cars are not allowed in the UK - apparently. but i have no facts to prove this.

you still see people doing it though - how are you supposed to enforce that
