Charlie and me

Last weekend  I met Charlie and his lovely wife at The Belfry in Littledean. SHMBO and myself rode down in blazing hot temperatures. Charlie arrived early evening in a thunderstorm as the weather broke. We were accomadated in their new block double ensure rooms for £60 a night including breakfast which I thought was good value. The evening was spent eating healthily and drinking heartily. The following morning after a good breakfast we were greeted with torrential rain but decided to ride to a local cider manufacturer. We rode down roads awash with new rivers and covered by debris. The bikes did not miss a beat but soon became mud Coloured. Who needs a gs. After the mill we went to the Lower Lode inn for a great lunch and then rode home. What a great weekend. Thanks Charlie.

What made it a special overnight escape was the company both Cheryl and I were in and enjoyed throughly.   Big thanks to Margeret sand Peter.

Now Pete has started this thread I will have a go at posting some pictures to highlight the weekend activity ...........watch this space
