Mirror glass removal

Hello all.
Does anybody know if the mirror glass can be removed from the swivel in the wing mirror housing. Mine shattered when I was trying to adjust it. Its perfect apart from that so only the glass needs replacing.

The mirror is removable but cannot be purchased separately and the whole unit is £143. Which side is broken and were you hoping to just replace the glass?
It's big, it's blue and the plate says 'you have just been overtaken by a pensioner' and that really pisses sport bikes off.

In the past on another vehicle I had a glazier cut a new mirror glass which I then glued to the backing.

Hello Again.
the RH one is cracked. I'm planning to replace just the mirror if poss. If it comes out  I will by a second hand one and extract mirror. Failing that I will made a new one from a cheap mirror black using the cutter and meths trick. Whichever I do I would still be easier with the mirror removed
