Second time in three years the good lady has suffered this!
She's not the best on big boats, but Kwells seem manage all issues, even this year when boy, the crossing to Spain was choppy!.
Anyhow, get off boat, all is good, travel 150 - 200 miles, all OK, then get off, check in and within 2 hours migraine style headache and nausea, followed by room sways and feeling  :censored:!
Further Kwells  used, and migraine relief, but nothing seems to help.
Go for a walk, symptoms ease, back on the bike, symptoms lessen still, after 5-6 hours back to normality.
The power of Google found issue - Mal de Disembarque" - opposite of sea sickness when movement ceases.....she suffers both.....AAAARRRRGGGGHHHH!
It was bad enough when the kids had to go on 20 minute car drives to settle them down! This is nuts, having to take the wife for a blast to ease nausea!!!!!
Seems to affect women mainly, common to start about 40-50 years of age!
Happened on our 1200GS and the GTR, can't be the bike!
Anyone heard or suffered with this and any advice? Any help appreciated as it is a real downer when you just start a holiday. :ohplease:
Patience is something you admire in the driver behind you and scorn in the one ahead.

Not an option!  The bike becomes "ours" not "yours" when holidays are involved!

She adjusts to the motion faster than most. Then once adapted gets landsickness. Take shorter ferry crossings and ride more :-)
