The countdown begins

Well. After plenty of deliberation and lots of research, I've been and put a deposit on a beautiful 2009 silver GTR with only 6000 miles, rear hugger, full venture shield and give top box. I also got a deal on a Remus hexacone in titanium with carbon end caps. Well chuffed, hopefully will pick it up mid week. I'll keep you informed how the first ride out goes. ;D

I remember when I bought my 08 model. Saw it on net and that it was local to me. Phoned and the bloke said he's had a few call on it, so whoever puts a deposit on it first gets it. Now, I don't know if he was bluffing, but at the price the bike was a steal. As I was working from home, went across in my lunch hour and put a deposit down (and negotiated on some extras).

The next three days were the worst whilst I was waiting for some of the accessories to be put on.
