Afternoon all,

Before the first service the windscreen on the GTR always returned to the bottom when I turned the ignition off, which I was fine with.

Since it came back from the first service, which was quite some time ago now, whenever I turn the engine on it rises to its highest position, which isn't where I want it. Is there any way to stop it doing this?

I can't find anything in the manual and a quick search on here didn't reveal anything.

Thank you :)

Hi Liam in owners manual in general information on page 55 it explains how to adjust windshield setting at least it does in my 2011 model guide. If prob pm me and will get info to you.

there is a memory setting in your dash which presets where the screen will rise to when you turn on the ignition , they have set it to its highest setting , so im guessing you had it set lower. From memory you will state 1 or 2 or 3 to designate which height you want. The screen will always return to zero or the bottom setting when ignition is off regardless

If you want to keep the way it was even if turning ignition off : push the windscreenbutton when turning ignition iff , it will stay in same position

Thanks for the help guys, managed to get it reset. Not before changing the language to French while trying to get out of the menu, though!

If in doubt... disconnect battery -'ve terminal. All settings will default, and start again!
