just a quickie.

was bleeding the clutch today and under the left lower faring are some leak off pipes. one is fuel tank over flow the other probably coolant. the one i'm interested in is the one that is plugged with a little catch bottle.

what's that then?

its overflow for something , maybe battery acid, something that is not allowed to go on the road,

Its an airbox drain.  Part of the service schedule is to drain it periodically, but normally there's nothing in it
