HELP: drfit ghost remote

my drift ghost remote was charged this morning, and worked fine. I keep in in the  map pocket on the tank bag.. always have done. and part way through the day it wouldn't switch on. I assumed flat battery.

Brought into hotel rom tonight and connected to usb on laptop and the leds are showing steady green, suggesting that it is charged, however it will not turn on to search for the camera.

At our last stop when I took the remote out to turn it on again it felt hot..  sunshine was bright at the time.


Any thoughts or knowledge on this. Has the heat inside the  map pocket "fried" it?  Can it be re-set?
