I ride my bike, anyone with 2 wheels is a friend what ever they ride - I like this forum, everyone lends assistance here if asked without any prejudice (a little light humour occasionally perhaps) and I never play politics (another reason I like this forum) and will continue to do so - never had any issues with anyone here, whether moderator or not and on a personal comment - Debs is one of the best people I have met through this or other forums - I'm sure that whatever she posted may have been done with the best of intentions to gather a laugh and not to offend but we all make mistakes in judgement every now and again, Can we not just draw a line under whatever it was and go back to being the group we once were?

Rant over, soap box broken up for firewood and I'll go sit in my corner again.....

I Did'nt see it either and cannot comment on what was posted, however, I joined this forum in the hope that this seemed like a forum where by members could be open and honest without being censored. Clearly by some of the comments and objections to whatever was posted I am beginning to wonder if this is the case. UKIP will be getting my vote, I am not a racist by voting UKIP, but at the end of the day my vote is my choice and your choice is yours, so why do people think that they can belittle other peoples views that are different to thiers. Live and let live is what I say.

I have read a number of Deb's posts and they are very informative and helpful, so just because she puts something on here that you don't agree with, does not give you the right to remove it. That's called being a hyprocrit in my book. But that is my view, like it or lump it.

Didnt read the original post ,didnt see it ,dont know debs on a personal level but from what i have seen her post here wouldnt think that was her style ,as for the racist part alot of it today is overly pc .Im irish and i remember the signs in london long ago but do i give a flying f*** no .So i hope this site dosent loose what makes it worth while logging on ,and if i cant insult people and generally be a sarcastic Irish p**** then i will get my coat .And if i offend anyone just remember im leaving someone else alone.

So many words ...... I've known a lot of you for a lot of time... And this has got to be the most controversial posts I've tried reading.........  I say tried, because I got bored after the first couple of sentences!

Whether you like it or not I'm offended that this post was withdrawn so that I am unable to form my own conclusions. I'm also offended that some very extensive and clever prose has been posted in an attempt to justify certain aspects of the missing post without being able to judge its content. I'm trying to judge how offended I am but cannot put either a monetary or emotional value to the issue. What is a fact is that the people you think are offended are far more understanding and TOLERANT of such posting and its withdrawal could be construed as a 'look at me caring about your feelings' when they are able to accept the prejudice of others.

Yes, lets re-instate the post and let everyone make their own mind up. I really hope this site does not go down the censored route, where postings are being edited and removed just because what is written does not agree with editors eyes or points of view.

I hope I'm wrong about this, as she is/was a bloody good member who has made considerable contribution to this forum and its predecessor for many years !
