Anyone has experience with this? Thanks for your comments.

that's certainly a better version of  the throttle " Lock" if that's what you want. Ive had the cheaper locks before and find them frustrating  as the spped of the bike can vary considerably depending on the gradient, even a small decline can increase your speed a lot, I found myself constantly adjusting it .
I  eventually got my self a fully intergrated electronic one  (like on a car )for about £150 , ive had it 10 years and still works perfectly

if you want a throttle lock just get a cheap one and see how you get one, the throttlemesister seems to be very popular and it screws onto the bar end is is very discreet and hardly noticeable. Some guys even use a rubber Oring that they roll into the gap between the rubber throttle grip. the more basic the throttle lock the more rick they propose , be careful

thanks Viper

I was several times warned against installing electronic things to the GTR, as there is a high risk ruining the inside computers, so I would prefer something manual,

thanks for your advise, the "constant adjusting" was useful, I did not realize it; this thingy enables you to turn with the throttle up or down for this purpose without a need for unlocking it, so it should be fine, I suppose.

No problem.
Your comment about not fitting electronic things to the GTR, what absolute rubbish you have been fed , so no GPS, no Intercoms, no phones, no audio ?
As for electronic cruise controls, ive had mine for 10 years on 3 separate bikes, its no better or worse than a car one and can be deactivated by either the front brake, back brake or even by twisting the throttle, much safer than a device that mechanically locks your throttle in position, In my opinion

It's just nobody wants no install electric things for me 'cause of the complexity. I had a tracker and alarm and was refused by the authorised Kawasaki dealer to fit it and even my own mechanic. I'd love to obviously have it but am afraid of the ruin it might cause to the bike. I'm not myself technically advanced so wouldn't fit any wires myself - am dependent on the mechanics

I have  :shit: loads of electronic stuff added to mine. I even installed my own wiring loom for all the extras.. Never had a problem

in light of what you say id suggest you stay well clear of throttle locks, your dealer certainly wont fit it and probably your mechanic would refuse. You don't sound like a DIY sort of guy so id suggest this product may be too dangerous for you to fit

Thanks guys. But this one is manual and needs just a few screws, I will manage that. I wanted just to ask if anyone has experience with that particular one on GTR.

Happy riding!

Throttlemeister is cheaper, and much better looking.
Have had mine on my GTR1000 for years and is superb except for when you hit hills.
Even then you can relax and just adjust the throttle when you need to.
It replaces the handlebar end weights and is super-easy to fit.
Mine gets swapped between the 1000 and the 1400 depending on which bike I am using for touring.

Love my Throttlemeister

So I called to Breakaway and they do not actually supply it for GTRs/Concours. They are testing it, so perhaps in the future.
