Just realised that Auto Glym Clean Wheels spray removes heat discolouration to the exhaust link pipe. That orange tint that happens bothered me when I looked at some recent pics I had taken..
Just used the spray to get the crap off the front wheel and some had got onto the manifold pipes.. After a few mins, clear spots showed on the pipes, so I tried it on the link pipe underneath..
Spray on and leave for a few mins, then rinse off with warm water.
Took 2 or 3 attempts as the first try appeared a bit streaky with some discolouration still there.
Dunno if this is old news or not, but I've just figured it out hahaha
Cheers

Nice one Dibz .. AutoGlym works wonders and if there is any more shite to get off use a soft cloth with a splodge of Autosol ... I used that on the silvery end part of the exhaust ... Looked better than new !
