I have been using Bike Trac for the past 3 years because my baby has to sit outside in a communal car park.

I have never had a problem with it until I was on the way back from France, It just seemed to have stopped working. No signal was being sent to give its location. When I got back home it still showed as being in France.

I contacted Road Angel and asked if they did a repair service.. They do so I sent it in to them. During the past weeks I have been getting alerts via text from the unit ie, movement alarm, battery disconnected & bike down.. I knew that it must be because they are testing it.

I spoke to them on Monday to see how things were progressing. Spoke to a guy called Andrew who was really helpful. He confirmed that the alerts were from him looking at it. The unit has been updated with the latest firmware and now seems to be working fine.

Andrew said that as my subscription had ended while they had it, he would put an extra 3 months on for me for free. He also said that even though my unit is well out of warranty, if it starts to play up again, they will send me a new unit at no cost to me as they like to look after their customers.

When this 3 months free subscription runs out I will be buying the 3 year subs that come in at about £220 which works out to £6 a month... Now thats a bargain..

Thats the best customer service I have ever received and I am a happy bunny...

Excellent recommendation Debs - still trying to get my finance officer to approve the cost and failing miserably.....
