Well cut my suspenders and call me droopy....  I guess I need to check with the British embassy over here so I wonder if I need two passports now if I want to visit from the US.

An American with 2 passports that'll be a first :-) You'll also need to be trained in irony and sarcasm :-)

I guess Jim is USAF rtd. So he should be used to banter. My eldest daughter is married to a septic and I'm looking at jobs in WA USA.

Last time I was in England was the fall of '69.  We were stationed at RAF Sculthorpe.  It was being reopened as an annex of RAF Lakenheath.  I nearly caught pneumonia from the weather.

I would sincerely love for ya'll to try...and hopefully one day we'll meetup.  It would take copious amounts of  beer and sausages, though.

Good news on the American passport front, I found my document that says I was born abroad to an American parent(s) and I think that's sufficient documentation to get a passport according to our rules here in the US.  I'll be working on getting that this fall.
