Zeb, can I see the box where you have drilled please before I buy one. Thanks

Im trying to research this now as Im sick of making do with DIY powered cameras so I can run power from the bike to the camera, someone above mentioned that powering the camera puts it in to dashboard mode, does that mean just turning on and off with the bike power or does it as well over write its recorded files

Zebedee

Had one charging point snapped out on second charge so now have a go pro

Powering it from the bike starts it and stops it with power supply and rewrite can be set for max so will fill up card and then start rewriting oldest first. Sorry mate did mine a lob while in Wales now living in a lake :)

Well ive bought one, basically as I have used cheaper cameras and I have found that after a few files are recorded the rest corrupt wasting some good footage.

However on the SJ4000 and gopro forums it seems this also happens and ends up with corrupt files. Has anyone any idea what causes this please ?

Zebedee

I think this is mainly due to the use of cheap under speed as cards.

Just read the GoPro forum and they have the same problem, I hope you are right, I'll get a sandisk pro for it, I did wonder if its the vibration from the bike rattling the memory card

Zebedee

Make sure it's a class 10 mate.
