Ok, admit it, who else besides me grit their teeth last Saturday and watched Britians Got Talent??

And more importantly, if anyone is brave enough to actually admit watching last weeks episode, are they going to watch it again.
I admit I watched it last week and it was total shite. I'm embarrassed to say I actually went to the Sheffield Arena last year and watched the show at the end of the series, it wasnt actually that bad, Flawless & Diversity etc, they were very good. Wont be going agan though.

SWMBO fortunately cannot stand such inane drivel so I do not have to sit cringing on a Saturday evening watching the dross that is classed as entertainment :-)

Winston Smith

On nights so won't have to put up with the long haired enemy watching it!
Four is fun.  Six is sex.

I simply refuse to watch any shite like that ..... headphones on and fire up the I Mac.

Lonewolf

It wasn't actually too bad this week.... ;D

::)

It's not a case of whether we can fix it or not - it's more a case of how fixed would you like it?

Kwikasfuki

We watch it every year I must confess. We still have Signature doing Michael Jackson recorded on Sky+  :D
The kids love it

Yeah, we both liked Signature. Very original indeed, just watched it and again it made me laugh.

Your'e joking right, they were brill! ;D

Not sure about Britain having talent, but. We certainly do good ceremony  ;D

Rusty

Here Here ... If you want to see how ceremonial occasions should be done come to London ... The armed forces as a whole are very good, but of course The Brigade of Guards and Household Division are top drawer.

"Entertainment shows" <SHUDDER>
"Royal Weddings" <YAWN>

I guess anything they can crank out that keeps the masses entertained is good enough these days.
I seem to be one of the few people who avoids TV most of the time.
If it's on I'll watch a re-run of TopGear I've seen 20 times before rather than watch some new "entertainment".
When SWMBO isn't about the TV is tuned to Dave and the Documentary channels.

As for comedy,...... there isn't much about any more.
If it doesn't make you laugh, then it isn't comedy.
A wry grin is not good enough so IMHO (as always) you can stuff The Office, Little Britain, Catherine Tate, etc. down the drain.
Gimme Red Dwarf, Bottom, The Young Ones, and even 2½Men and Scrubs have me cackling every so often. :)
