Had the bike 2 weeks now ,put about 500 miles on her  just hooning around, have been swapping between low gel seat and original and still can't decide,as I'm 6'3 and the bike had risers on when I bought it I'm thinking might be time to try it without, anyone here prefer the bike without risers as most previous posts I've read seem to prefer with,I realise it's more to do with riding position and length of Your arms, not legs, lol, also just added carbon Remus Hexacone, very nice ,loving the bike so far,my mate has Z1000SX, nothing he can do I can't,so far :-)

I've just fitted risers to mine having done 1500 miles without. I'm 6'4" and tbh felt no real difference. However, I do suffer considerably less shoulder and neck pain the next day. I do now wear a back protector, so possibly that has altered my posture and stopped me slouching whilst riding. On the whole though, I prefer the risers I think?

If anyone decides they don't like the risers, you can always advertise them on here

I'm only a dwarf at 5'11 and never had any issue without bar risers, perhaps those extra few inches make all the difference!

Thanks Guys, think I'll take them off this Weekend and give it a try

I'm 6'1" and don't use bar risers. I did try them once (they were fitted to a dealer demo) but they just didn't suit me.

Well after a fair few more miles and a long ride on Sat with Gel seat fitted and risers removed,I hated the riding position,so risers back on to stay and standard seat back on,which I found more comfortable and less cramped riding position, surprising the difference 1 inch less height on the seat makes, the Remus Hexacone is also sounding great, happy for now.
