Hi to all,got My 2011 Black GTR on Friday, spent all day Sat riding in comfort, very nice ,just swapped from A naked GSX 1400 which I blinged up and was sad to part with but the comfort of the GTR won me over. It has MRA screen, not tried the original yet which came with the bike,as did a gel lower seat, though at 6'3 dought I will need it, already wondering about a smaller exhaust than the Howitzer on there, but will have a read up on here as I don't want to muck up the fueling,as I'm new guess it's my round ,so fill your boots, cheers.

I'm also 6'3 but prefer the lower gel seat because of the comfort and reduces buffeting on the top of my helmet

Welcome aboard,
Plenty of smaller silencers out there for the GTR.
I have a 2Bros but faves on here are Remus Hexacones and anything from Beowolf.
Doesn't muck up the fuelling as the CAT is upstream in the headers along with the Lambda sensors.
You will get a popping on deceleration but that can also be removed by bunging up one of the clean air injection system hoses.
If you want more power you can remove the secondary butterflies and fit a Power Commander, or you can get your ECU reprogrammed.
This normally adds about 15Bhp at the rear wheel (135 to 150) but most importantly gives more torque lower down the rev range.
Some have seen increases of 22lbft @ 2500rpm.
Me? Nah, she has plenty enough power for me but I would like to smooth out the snatchy throttle.

Thanks for the warm welcome Guys, looking forward to some miles this Weekend on the new bike, luckily no floods up here in North Somerset. Will try out the lower gel seat this weekend to see if it helps with the Helmet blast, though to be fair not sure the MRA screen is as tall as original, will be also good to see how it affects riding position as it has risers fitted, not sure about them yet ,will remove them at some point for comparison.
Having spent a small fortune on bling, exhausts power commander etc on previous bike I did say I'm not gonna touch this one,but quite fancy the new Scorpion Red Power carbon exhaust, will investigate this weekend, thanks for the advice re fueling, don't wanna go down the remap route if avoidable but I am used to more low end torque.
