What wine should i put in the left pannier of my GTR to go with the halibut in the right pannier of my GTR :mfr_lol: :mfr_lol:

Well, just for the Halibut, I'd go with a white of some sort, but one musn't forget the sausages.

Just picked up on this thread.

Personally I would recommend a light crisp white such as Pinot Grigio, Chabley, Muscadet or Reisling.

As for Halibut - This meaty fish is delicious when prepared simply with just a few ingredients.  Consider BBQ or poaching.

Hi,

Anyone know where I might be able to find the posts mentioned below please?  I've just brought mine out of hibernation and htese two could be relevant. Also, anyone got any experience of a reluctance to change gear after being laid up? Just been to the MOT station in 1 st and 2nd gear. CAme back and able to hook into 3rd. Might it just be a case of needing to get thoroughly warmed up and the oil recirculated?

Any guidance appreciated!

Andy

I appreciate I haven't been around for a while and need to update the useful information of this thread.

Two I can think of:

1. Viper's instructions of preventing warped discs
2. How to prevent the suspension adjuster from seizing on 2010+ models

Any others?

1, rotate your disc bobbins often, use brake cleaner plus a nut and bolt through the hole.

2, cover the adjuster with a balloon or suchlike to prevent water ingress, make sure it turns before covering, if it's seized then you can remove it and dip it into a plastic bag full of WD 40 penetrant, if completely seized there is a little pin you can remove to get the top off.

It's not as complicated as it looks.
Re-installing it is a bit of a ballache though.
Just follow the instructions in the Service Manual.
